C-Therm Hosts July 15 Webinar on Testing Next-Gen Thermal Interface Materials
The Fredericton instrument maker’s Arya Hakimian and Genesis Infante walk engineers through Trident and TIM Tester workflows for greases, gap pads, and liquid-cooling materials used in AI data centres and power electronics.

C-Therm Technologies — the Fredericton company behind the Trident thermal conductivity platform — is running a live webinar on July 15, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Atlantic on how to test the next generation of thermal interface materials (TIMs).
Application Scientist Arya Hakimian and Lab Manager Genesis Infante will cover practical workflows for greases, pastes, gap pads, adhesives, thin films, and liquid-cooling materials — the stack that keeps AI servers, aerospace electronics, and power packages from cooking themselves.
Why TIM testing is suddenly harder
As power densities climb in data centres and high-performance computing, materials teams are comparing denser filler packages and more form factors than a single room-temperature conductivity number can capture. C-Therm’s session focuses on that gap: compression-dependent performance, contact resistance, bondline thickness, and measurements that track closer to real assemblies than a datasheet alone.
The company says the webinar will show how Trident supports rapid thermal conductivity screening (aligned with ISO 22007-2) alongside the ZFW TIM Tester for thermal resistance and impedance under controlled pressure and thickness — the ASTM D5470 lane that matters when a grease or gap pad is squeezed between two surfaces.
A Fredericton lab selling globally
C-Therm is headquartered at 40 Crowther Lane in Fredericton and markets itself as a specialist in non-destructive thermal analysis for aerospace, automotive, electronics, textiles, and energy storage. Hakimian, who holds chemistry degrees from the University of New Brunswick, is also the company’s public Application Scientist voice on method comparisons such as MTPS versus single-sided TPS on the Trident platform.
For a province better known for cybersecurity and SaaS, C-Therm is a quieter industrial-instrument story: hardware and lab methods sold into the same thermal-management boom that AI cooling and EV power electronics are driving.
