Floresh Puts a School's LMS and Student Records on One Fredericton Platform

Matthew and Roger Harrington built Floresh after watching family run a school across too many apps. The product now combines learning, records, billing, and family messaging — and a school leader just flagged its latest features.

Abstract connected school-operations cards for records, learning, billing, and family messaging

International school leader Dr. Josiah Marr wrote on LinkedIn that he had just seen new work from Floresh Education and came away impressed. He called the all-in-one LMS and student-information app “functional and customizable,” and he named Matt and Roger as the father-son pair behind it.

That pair is Matthew Harrington, listed as co-founder, and Roger Harrington, a senior software developer, working from Fredericton. The company was founded in 2023. Its public site now describes a full school-operations platform — not just a classroom add-on — and a Google Play listing pins the developer to the city.

A family school, too many logins

Floresh’s about page says the product started when the Harringtons watched family struggle to run a school in South Korea across several applications that did not share records. Each system had its own setup, workflows, and cost. The brief they wrote for themselves was one connected platform for records, learning, attendance, billing, events, communication, and administration — with one login and one support team.

Matthew Harrington later put the same idea more simply in an Education Technology Insights interview: “Learning improves when students, teachers and parents see the same view of progress and respond at the same time.”

What ships today

The current feature set is eight connected areas:

  • Student information — profiles, family contacts, medical alerts, report cards, and transcripts
  • Learning — versioned courses, class-specific adaptations, multimedia assessments, and a gradebook
  • Attendance and student care — teacher attendance, parent-reported absences, and medical alerts in Class Overview
  • Finance — tuition invoices, AutoPay, Event Fees for lunches and field trips, and Stripe payments
  • Events — calendar, RSVP, facilities, and event payments
  • Communication — messaging with parent and admin oversight, announcements, email, and push
  • School operations — tasks that deep-link to the work, dashboards, and facilities
  • Security — permission groups, resource access, and Google SSO

Teachers get a Class Overview that keeps attendance, grades, lessons, and medical alerts in one workflow. Parents can see academics, message teachers, report absences, and pay. Administrators can invoice in bulk, run a finance dashboard, and manage permissions without a separate student-information system.

A Google Play companion app is live for assigned practice cards and notifications. Earlier company notes also list Google Classroom import and Google Workspace login.

What it costs

Public pricing is C$50 per active student per year, billed annually, with a C$2,500 minimum. Staff and parent accounts are included. Floresh does not add its own transaction fee on top of Stripe’s. Standard implementation is listed at C$1,500–C$3,000.

The company sponsors ACSI Eastern Canada and lists an Education Technology Insights “Top Online Learning Platform in APAC 2026” profile. It does not publish a customer roster. What it does publish is a product that has grown from language-practice cards into a school-operations stack — and a school leader who, after seeing the latest features, pointed other administrators at the Fredericton company’s site.
