Atlantic Tech Summit Opens a Founders’ Floor — Including Saint John

Atlantic Canada’s big fall tech gathering is carving out floor space for companies that are still asking for their first ten customers.

The Atlantic Technology Summit — set for November 18, 2026 in Dartmouth and Saint John — is introducing The Founders’ Floor, a dedicated showcase for the region’s earliest-stage companies, Entrevestor reported on July 22. Every participating founder gets a showcase space and a chance to tell the room exactly what they need next: a technical co-founder, angel or seed capital, those first paying customers, an enterprise pilot, or operator mentorship.

What it costs — and who it’s for

Startup participation is $500, with applications open on the ATS site. Audience early-bird tickets are $125 through July 31. The summit targets founders, executives, IT leaders, security professionals, and other technology decision-makers across Atlantic Canada — the buyer-and-builder crowd, not only pitch-night spectators.

Organizers pitched the Floor on LinkedIn as a way for “the region’s investors, operators, and builders to meet the companies that will define what comes next in Atlantic Canada’s tech ecosystem.” That is marketing language, but the format is clearer than a generic expo booth: founders are expected to state a concrete ask, not just demo a slide deck.

Why Saint John is the NB peg

ATS has always been a regional conference. The 2026 edition’s dual footprint — Dartmouth and Saint John — puts a New Brunswick host city on the same calendar line as the Nova Scotia side. For provincial startups that will not fly to every Toronto week, a November day with buyers, CISOs, and operators in the port city is a practical distribution channel — especially beside local names already shipping enterprise product from Saint John, from ProcedureFlow’s Agentic API to MedReddie’s European procurement push.

The agenda, per Entrevestor, leans practical: AI adoption that leaves the pilot stage, cyber resilience, cloud cost control, workforce development, and digital trust. Keynote speaker is Ramy Nassar, futurist, author, and former Head of Innovation at Mattel.
