MedReddie Partners with Health Proc Europe to Reach 5,000 Hospitals

Saint John’s hospital-shopping AI just got a continental distribution deal.

MedReddie has signed a strategic partnership with Health Proc Europe Association, Entrevestor reported on July 15, 2026 — the same week the company announced the deal as a July 14 press release. Health Proc Europe represents healthcare procurement professionals serving about 5,000 hospitals across 30 European countries. Under the agreement, the association will deploy MedReddie’s AI Co-pilot across its Communities of Practice to help member hospitals build evaluation criteria, find suppliers, and support purchasing decisions.

What the Co-pilot does

MedReddie sells an AI layer for healthcare procurement — the slow, spreadsheet-heavy work of writing RFx packages, scoring vendors, and keeping criteria current as devices and regulations change. The company says the platform generates procurement criteria, market intelligence, and RFP support for medical equipment, supplies, software, services, and related innovations, cutting research time on each sourcing project.

Founder and CEO Kara LeBlanc framed the Europe deal as both a commercial win and a standards play. “This operational shift replaces resource-intensive manual research with data-driven insights,” she said in the joint statement, adding that the partnership could help health systems standardize value-based procurement while staying inside regulatory requirements.

Why Health Proc Europe matters

Health Proc Europe is a Berlin-anchored network focused on collaboration, education, and shared procurement standards across European health systems. CEO and co-founder Elisa Frenz said deploying MedReddie’s Co-pilot across Communities of Practice would help members make decisions with real-time data, upskill procurement teams, and scale value-based purchasing “across Europe and beyond.”

Both sides also pitched the deal as a Canada–EU commercial bridge: easier pathways for health-tech companies to market products across the two regions, not only a software licence for European hospitals.

The Saint John through-line

MedReddie was founded in Saint John and has been building toward Europe since its last raise. In November 2025 the company said it had closed $1.55 million in equity — led by MaRS Investment Accelerator Fund, with NBIF, BDC’s Thrive Lab, and angels — plus $500,000 in grants, for a $2 million package aimed at international expansion (BetaKit, Entrevestor).

This partnership is the export proof point that capital was meant to buy: a named European association putting the product into a multi-country hospital network, rather than another North American pilot. For New Brunswick’s digital-health corridor — beside stories like ClinicGlide and VeroSource — it is a rare Saint John SaaS win measured in continents, not just provinces.
