Gray Wolf Analytics Brings Scam-Detection Playbook to UNB's RBC Lunch & Learn
Fredericton blockchain-intelligence firm Gray Wolf Analytics presented on scam detection, AI, AML and crypto/cyber defence at an RBC Lunch & Learn hosted by UNB's J. Herbert Smith Centre.
Gray Wolf Analytics took the floor at UNB's RBC Lunch & Learn, presenting its scam-detection playbook at the weekly series hosted by the university's Dr. J. Herbert Smith Centre for Technology Management and Entrepreneurship. The Fredericton blockchain-intelligence firm's session covered scam detection, AI, anti-money-laundering (AML) and crypto/cyber defence, according to a LinkedIn post from the centre.
The series
The RBC Lunch & Learn is one of the long-running fixtures of UNB's entrepreneurship programming: a free Tuesday-lunchtime talk in Old Head Hall where founders walk students through their entrepreneurial journeys. RBC put $1 million behind the Dr. J. Herbert Smith Centre (TME) in 2016 through the RBC Innovative Action Fund, and the Lunch and Learn lecture series is one of the things that money supports — alongside pitch competitions, a mentor-in-residence program and funds backing student startups.
The company
Gray Wolf builds blockchain-intelligence tooling for investigators and compliance teams. Its Gray Wolf Terminal handles transaction tracing and graph analysis, entity recognition and cross-chain mapping, with counterparty-risk screening across more than 40 blockchains. StaySafeCrypto adds continuous threat monitoring and early detection, and the newer Gray Wolf MCP exposes attribution and risk screening as tools an AI agent can call directly. The firm's clients range from virtual-asset service providers to governments and law enforcement. We covered its crypto-compliance work earlier.
Both hats
The booking has a neat symmetry: Gray Wolf co-founder Dhirendra Shukla also chairs the J. Herbert Smith Centre — the same centre hosting the series. A UNB-born company bringing its forensic playbook back to the university's own lunch crowd is the entrepreneurship pipeline doing exactly what it was built to do.
